Hello Readers! I'm making some major changes here. First of all: posts will be monthly. Second, except for this post, info posts do not count as a monthly post. Third, I will explain the reason I'm doing this changes next month.

Oh, and, by the way, I will change the layout of this blog next month (May), This blog made an year in February, and new content are arriving at 8beo. Maybe I'll start some real independent fotage making and post way more tutorials/tips and usefull stuff. Await...

Hello world! I'm back and this year I will finish all the promises from last year (some were already done some are still comming). But let me get you a update of what I'm trying to do and have I done:

-I am, first of all, trying to upload all the content I promised.
-Then I'll work out on the site.
-Meanwhile I am re-doing the old channel videos and uploading them into 8beo's account
-Some videos will still be the same
-I am also trying to do my first Anime Music Video
-I am working solo on all of the above.

iTunes: New generation of Sound?

I really enjoy a good sound quality. It is simply impressive when you can (paying some attention) clearly listen to a specific instrument in a music. That's the iTunes Magic.

Somehow apple's development and research lab was able to create a sound platform able to, not only integrate a stunning music store, a simply beautiful and useful way to browse your favorite music, but also a great audio quality. Before finding iTunes, i used to use winamp (a great player/jukebox too) with simple buttons very easy to learn (even a 10 years old boy could use it) but yet very flexible, in a way that an advanced learner don't have problems by pushing up the sofware. The same thing I felt with Itunes, but it is less flexible in exchange of a better sound quality (just enable the "Sound Enhancer" - Edit>Preferences..>Playback or [Ctrl]+[+]>Playback).

The way you browse your music is unique: a simple list(most of jukeboxes), a list of tracks with the CD cover (like on Windows media player), Cover Flow (iphone and itouch), and the adjustable icons (by genre, CD cover, band, and a lot more)

And they have the itunes store: beautiful. Loads of tv series (world-wide speaking), loads of musics, loads of apps for your iphone.

About Aliens, Natural Disasters and Bad Hollywood Movies

I dunno why, but There is a real problem with this Alien/Nature disaster fashion. Maybe it's a universal rule (like the gravity) that nowadays alien and natural disaster movies are not as great as all the other movies.

Maybe because the other movies are based on realistic responses (human or animal-alike responses), but Aliens are usually (in most of the authors minds) different from humans. They usually have white skin, huge eyes, small foreheads, don't have hair, bla, bla, bla.

And the Natural Disasters. I'll tell one thing: Natural disasters movies always happen in NY. Always. And other thing, when the movie has a little bigger budget, they care in putting someone from asia, a pope, and another world leader speaking who-knows-what about people having to pray for the world sake.

Now, always, ALWAYS, in any of them, the solution is in the U.S. or start in the U.S., or it's found in the U.S. and not only that, the hero is American. Not British, not Australian, not European, not from Brazil, Japan or any other country you can imagine, but American.

And stuff goes like this: our hero has notthing to do with the problem, he's usually with his family, he is an scientist (or something like that), or a expert in what he does, and near the end he dies or get close to death.

But what I really can't stand is that is that in the end something stupid happens, and that's the solution. Like planting a simple bomb on the mother ship, just wait until it ends, a stupid bird attacking the ships, some alien regrets what they're doing, et cetera.

Now i have a simple explanation for this fact: they're spending more budget then they have or the film-making is close to the premiere. So in the end they want to make things as cheap as possible and re-write the story board, or they re-write the story board to take the less time possible - and usually, as they're out of budget they ask someone other then the real author to re-write it and this person usually copy from somewhere else..

Anyway, when the movie gets on the theaters it's exactly the very same as the others or at least as disapointing as the others.I dunno if you like it or not, I'm just saying that the movies could have better plots and stories.

I was seriously away from this blog becase of my school and an Anime Music Video Contest (I was helping Hannonymous001 in his work) for the brzil's site Naruto Project. You migh not like Naruto (we're not actually fans) but it is a way to see which level of edition we can do. Anyway, just to keep ya in track of what is upcomming:

Jack was born in May 18, 1975 in Hawaii musician, accomplished professional surfer and filmmaker who has achieved commercial success and a dedicated following since he first appeared on G. Love & Special Sauce's album Philadelphonic. The release of his 2001 debut album, Brushfire Fairytales further cemented his popularity.

Jack learned to play the guitar at age 14, and was a professional surfer until an accident at Pipeline in which his front teeth were knocked out and he received more than 150 stitches. While he was recovering in bed, he spent his time writing songs and playing guitar. However, Jack didn't seriously pursue a career in the arts until his college years at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Jack Johnson also played rhythm guitar for the party band "Soil", and graduated with a degree in film.

And for sure: loads of persons are making money with this copying and re distributing. Even I, don't have a lot of time to create videos so I only edit those already ready (even though that's not the reason I copy videos; I copy them because I want to train my video skills with videos that I like and that I want to promote world wide through You Tube or this blog).

So I realized that we usually waste our talent (and time) trying to attract the attention to us doing something that we're usually not good, don't like, or even doing nothing (in this case copying);

Also I've realized that when we do what we're good at we attract the attentions naturally (it might take some time, it might be on the exact time you publish your work) and in the end you will be happy (for doing something that you understand and like), satisfied (for fullfilling your time doing something that is usefull for someone), and you will be recognize in this world of unknowns and (a lot) copies...

I just bought the Electronic Arts brand new The Sims 3 (for PC) and the first impression was of getting the wrong game (or at least a less creative/worse quality game), with the poor entrance video (full of squares and noises on the image) and the loading music, that just looked like a The Sims 2 expansion music.
But the scene changes when you see that menu (a bit confusing but very handy once you get used to it). Starting from there you get a masterpiece.

The only thing that bothered me was the cut of some animations (like entering the car, riding a bicycle) and some textures quality. But all of those are in exchange of a good thing, isn't it?

Well, their intention was to make the game faster, smoother and more accessible for less gifted computers. This way they get way more users than The Sims 2 an alive game and other benefits. By getting more users they get more money, and speaking of which you have to spent real money if you want get new objects (like a new chair collection).

But the Game is fresh, I like it, they have a nice balance of new stuff and stuff that we're used to, and I'm sure every one will have a great time playing this game. It will easily entertain you for weeks or even months.

This game was focused in personalization and making things more light than The Sims 2. the system is not all locked up and heavy, here you can and probably will explore every thing you can without waiting hours while the game load up.

My final rate of the game will be 7.8/10.0 (for the entire game); 6.7/10.0 (on graphics); and 8.9/10.0 (on fun).

And for a fan i really expected this game to be alittle bettr but still I am satisfied with the final product.

P.S.: for those who complain, my GPU is Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT, my computer run with an AMD Phenom 8400 Triple-core CPU of 2.10 GHz; with 2.0 GB of RAM;and on a Windows XP Professional SP2 (x64).

What makes you a Gamer?

Playing games is more complicated and fun than you thought. The thing is: playing games don't make anyone a gamer. A gamer can be defined as someone who play with the purpose to have a good time. having that in mind you won't classify or test the graphics, see the textures complexity, etc. Who does it are the the game testers not the video gamers, I mean being a Video Gamer is more than being a game tester, you will play to enjoy and you not work on it, what I mean is: you can stop playing any time you want keep playing how long you want and this is healthier than evaluating a game.

In other words: enjoy the game, a good game is not made of good graphics but by a horde of good players after it.

So what makes you a gamer? you are a gamer once you simply want to spent some good time playing a game (from poker to Gran Theft Auto 4)

But never Ever bring the Video Game's problem to your life, it's serious. Look at this happy boy

Have you ever seen The imponent Himalays on Asia? Or The thrilling Rain forest on America? or even took a trip to the Magnificent Safari in Africa?

If the answer is yes, than you should make the world a better place so they keep existing and then be able to, more than show some photos to your grandchildren, take them there.

If no, why destroing it up before you can even see them? Why not avoid future disasters and even get yourself a nice present: life.

A simple action like putting things in the correct order, recicle, walk more, Ride a bike, or even transmit this message to a friend, can make THE difference. Sure, you and we will get alot of "NO"s but on yes is enough to maybe transform an entire community.

We hope that this message doesn't stop on you, and that you do your homework, because the world does not belong only to me or you or the president or even UN, but it belongs to all of us.

Try to join/support/or even fund a local, national, international organization like WWF.

But do not Mistake: global warming exists, but it's not the global warming that worries every one, because the Earth's NATURAL global warming is necessary for life but the acceleration of the global warming is bad.

Every one keeps asking what will this affect me? I'll only use less coats and less heating in me house, maybe the beach will get a litle smaller or closer, and what?

Be aware: Near 90% of the oxigen in the air the you breath comes from micro sea weeds, only 10% from threes. Raise the sea level in 5 degrees (temperature that the sea weeds can't survive) and we blow up the world air.

But why saving the threes? They help not in the oxigen, but in the temperature control. They bring humity, which become rain the will fall in hot places controlling and making the global warming softer (kind of, slow it up).

FLuency in a language: How?

There's a good share of people that do try to learn another language. Everybody that try to learn another language spend at least 1 or two years until they get fluent. But almost no one realize when they start it. Then come the question of the day: When someone get fluent?

You know, my main language is not english, I've learned with "particular" teachers and one of them told me something that really matters when this subject is in question:"you will get fluent starting from the moment you can clearly think in english and stop translating". This is very important. In the beginning every body tries to translate a sentence to the main language, and than understand, after you can skip the translation step you got yourself fluent.

Now, how do i get into this point? its up to you to figer it out.

Once i was asking my self: were O.K. came from? I've researched and discovered that O.K. is a particular expression only present on the English language (that's right no other language has an equivalent expression, be it Spanish, Portuguese, French, Chinese or Japanese). Then I went deeper in my research and finally i came with an answer:

The thing started in one of the wars which U.S. was involved. As you all know wars is all about killing or get killed, and all the governments need to keep a control over the troops (for knowing when sending reinforcements to that battle/area), and all the troops got to make report and when there was zero Killed they used to write:

0K. (zero kay), which was read OK (Okay), got it? Simple isn't it?

Hannonymous001 is a very friend of mine and he didn't made any video editing school, he was testing stuff until he got into something. So we've saw what's blu-tooth blu ray, GPU and CPU right?

Now lets go to the HD, HDD, Space, RAM, ROM, Device Drivers, all at once.

HD=HDD (Hard Drive=Hard Disk Drive) - HD or HDD is where you keep the informations required for your computer to run and some of your personal files (I meant most because your Internet files probably are on the Internet).

This means that your O.S. (Operational System - Linux, Windows, Macintosh) runs from informations taken from the HD, so you shouldn't start deleting anything you see in your computer (except those files you know that's not related to any program).

Space - can be defined as the capacity of something, be it memory or HD Space.

RAM - (Random Access Memory) is the local erasable/temporary memory of your computer is located. More RAM equals more programs running at the same time, or less legs (those small stops) in your games.

An good stand computer got to have at least 1 GB for running well Internet, Apple iTunes, an average A.V., and microoft office 2007. The Good computer have at least 2.5 GB of RAM which is great for newer games and heavy applications. The Great Computer have greats 3 to 5 GB of RAM, perfect for complex but amateur video edition (like we use in Hnn videos), 3d Design, and games like Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 4 (Wonderfull Game, by the way).

ROM - (Read only Memory) is the place where, once the information is recorded, cannot be changed, this is the oposit of RAM (where the info is written read and erased frequently) in ROM the info is written an that's it. I'ts faster than RAM, but once recorded it's a space that won't return. An example is the CD ROM, once you record, for instance, some musics you can't overwrite them, you can copy but not change them.

Device Drivers - Device Drivers or simply drivers is what make you hardware (fisical part of the computer, the pieces) work. Imagine that it's like the manual for CPU's, teaching them how to use that computer part properly. It's the bridge that connects the CPU to the part (modem, GPU, Printer, Scanner, Soundcard, etc).

Omelet with Banana

I don't know about you, but I live in a tropical country.

And for sure if you ever get hungry in the middle of the afternoon, your freezer is empty except for an old banana and 2 eggs, my friend, you got yourself a great meal! The recipe is really easy and does great with a bread or pure it self:

you will need:
-Egg(s) (one or two should do it)
-1 Banana

How to do it?
-Smash the banana
-mix every thing (of course NOT the egg shell)
-fry it until the point you want to

Done. you got a wonderful and tasty meal, great to eat while surfing the web or listening a sound track.

**This is the first part**

So my bro' used to do a huge confusion of computer parts like RAM memory, space, HDD, GPU, CPU, Bluetooth, Blu-Ray, ROM memory, and all this stuff.

So to avoid this usual mistakes I'll create this guide with two parts, today: Blu-Ray Bluetooth CPU and GPU.

GPU -it means: G (from Graphics) P (from processing) U (from unit); Graphics processing unit/ your video card.

CPU -it means: C (from Central) P (from processing) U (from unit); Central processing unit, the brain of your computer.

Now the Tooth and Ray
Bluetooth- it's an wireless personal area network which means, a not so small and yet not so big area where you can create your own information exchange network the do not need wires, got it?

Blu-Ray- it's the substitute of the DVD, it's bigger, it's more expensive, and it's pirate-proof (according to the creators). Example: while 1 DVD fits from 4.3 GB to 7 GB, an Blu-Ray fits 25 GB to 50 GB (and there are experiments to make it even bigger).

How an Anti-Virus work?

Imagine like this:

You've just spent all night downloading and installing that great program that you had before you format the computer, and you realize something is wrong.

Your avast! realized that actually it was a virus.

So, how does the a.v. (Anti-virus) fond out it was a virus? And why it take that much to scan?

The answer is simple; a.v. have something called database (which as you know it's always updating - or trying to do so) it's like a "most wanted" list of virus codes and basically a.v.s keep looking item by item and seen if there's any piece of code that looks like one of the "most wanted" and if it finds something it in a nutshell delete it.

"So this mean that if it's not on the database I'm not safe?"

Not exactly, we're near to safeness but not there yet; That's why a.v. always is updating: whenever the a.v. team discover a new virus they update the database. So it would be good if you keep the database of you a.v. up-to-date.

"Okay, but why does it take so long to scan?"

imagine that your database is huge, thousands of thousands of virus listed. and you have to check everything step by step. I bet you wouldn't do faster than you computer, I mean an average computer with 250 GB and a few space free have about 100 programs (including windows-required stuff) and you only have one brain, while computers have up to 7 cores!!!

Detail: if you have a Macintosh or Linux the chance of you get a virus decrease more than 99% =^.^=
